Now Add An Invitation Link with PurpleSlate Invitation Maker!

Not all events and parties are the same. Some are big and some are small. Some require tickets, while others seek donations. Some need an invitation link to view a registry, gift wish list, buy tickets, or coordinate a potluck.

In order to accommodate all the different types of events we are seeing hosted on PurpleSlate, we decided to introduce an option to attach a link to your invitation in our iOS app.

So what can you include in the link field? Anything!

We know that many of PurpleSlate’s events are birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers and weddings. Now you can include a link to your Amazon wish list or the registry. By doing so, you make it easy for your guests to get all the info they need, right in the palm of their hand.

Add a Potluck List Link!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner!

If you’re hosting dinner, you know that coordinating headcounts and managing the menu can be stressful. So make it easy by sending a PurpleSlate invite and your guests can mark the number of adults and kids in your party.

Not only that, you can add a potluck list link, too!

By using a service like Google Drive or Dropbox, simply create a new sheet with the dishes and allow guests to sign up next to the food they plan to bring. Allow edit permissions in that document, copy the link, and paste it into the link field of your PurpleSlate invite. How easy is that?

Imagine how nice it will be to have a variety of dishes instead of 5 plates of cranberry sauce!
